1 DAY PISTOL MARKSMANSHIP

 

This course focuses entirely on handgun accuracy (pistol marksmanship). using mostly bullseye targets and defensive, duty or competition style semi-automatic pistols out to 25 yards. In addition to improvements made in class, you will leave with a baseline set of skills and drills to take back to your home range to work on.

 

IN THIS CLASS:

  • Students will learn to understand the capabilities of their handgun/ammunition combo
     

  • Understand the importance of zeroing their pistol/ammunition combo.
     

  • Apply marksmanship fundamentals with a handgun out to 25 yards
     

  • Understand how/when to speed up or slow down for taking a shot at different distances.

 

​REQUIREMENTS:

  • Serviceable semi-automatic pistol of at least 9MM caliber

  • 600 rounds of quality ammunition

  • Quality belt mounted or duty holster (no crossdraw, shoulder, ankle or SERPA holsters - armed professionals issued a serpa will be the exception)

  • 3 magazines & a magazine carrier

  • 10 Dummy Rounds

  • Wrap around eye protection

  • Ear protection

  • Wet weather/cold weather gear (We shoot rain or shine).

  • A good attitude
